Spencer Siebers

Spencer has been litigating catastrophic injury cases for 20 years, first as a partner in the firm Silvester & Conroy, and now with Lieberman Siebers. Spencer has tried cases throughout the western United States in state and Federal courts, handling industrial fires and explosions, mine collapses, trucking and boating accidents, work site accidents and medical malpractice. Spencer is a member of the Utah Association for Justice and has been recognized as one of Utah’s Legal Elite in the area of Litigation.

It was through helping severely injured clients work through planning for their futures, and a lifetime of professional and medical care, that Spencer became interested in Elder Law and Estate Planning. Spencer has helped many clients in crafting wills, trusts, advanced health care directives, powers of attorney, special needs trusts, Medicare set-asides and guardianships. Additionally, Spencer assists elderly clients and their children and caregivers with Medicaid planning—protecting client and family assets from being depleted from the exorbitant cost of nursing home care. This often includes advanced planning for long-term care needs and “crisis” long-term care situations where qualification for Medicaid benefits needs to occur immediately. With his litigation experience, Spencer has also assisted clients with estate, probate, adoption and conservatorship litigation. Spencer is a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys.

Spencer was a Williams H. Leary Scholar at the University of Utah College of Law and completed his undergraduate work at Brigham Young University. Spencer came to Utah from Miami, Florida after being raised in Chicago,Illinois.
