Ben W. Lieberman
For more than 20 years, Ben has been solving problems for his clients. Whether helping someone through a hard divorce or going to trial on a complex business or real estate dispute, Ben has a lengthy record of helping clients achieve their goals.
Ben’s favorite part of practicing law is meeting clients for the first time, listening to their concerns, and coming up with a strategic plan that puts the client’s mind at ease. He gives each client candid and realistic advice that he would give a family member, and he explains legal issues and strategies in plain English.
Ben began his legal career working for two federal judges, assisting the judges in ruling on issues of law and presiding over bench and jury trials. In doing so, Ben learned the litigation process through the eyes of the court, a perspective that he continues to use everyday both in and out of the courtroom.
Ben worked for large and small law firms in Salt Lake City, Utah and Denver, Colorado before opening his own firm in 2008. He has successfully represented large corporations, small businesses, and individuals in a wide variety of divorce, commercial, real estate, probate, and personal injury disputes in Utah, Colorado, and elsewhere. Ben has significant training from the National Institute for Trial Advocacy in pretrial and trial techniques. He is also a court-approved mediator.
Since 2015, Ben has been named to the “Super Lawyers” list for the Mountain West region, an honor that is awarded to only 2.5% of lawyers. Ben has been named to the “Super Lawyers” list for both Family Law and Business Law.
