SPENCER SIEBERS
Spencer is a distinguished attorney specializing in probate and trust litigation as well as personal injury law. With a blend of tenacity, strategic insight, and a client-centered approach, Spencer has established himself as a trusted advocate in these complex areas of law.
Spencer understands that probate and trust disputes can be emotionally charged and legally complex. Whether dealing with contested wills, trust disputes, or fiduciary issues, Spencer combines legal acumen with compassion, striving for resolutions that uphold the integrity and intentions of the deceased.
For the first 20 years of his career, Spencer litigated catastrophic injury cases, first as a partner in the firm Silvester & Conroy, and later with Lieberman Siebers & Wood. Spencer has tried cases throughout the western United States in state and Federal courts, handling industrial fires and explosions, mine collapses, trucking and boating accidents, work site accidents and medical malpractice. Spencer is a member of the Utah Association for Justice and has been recognized as one of Utah’s Legal Elite in the area of litigation.
It was through helping severely injured clients work through planning for their futures, and a lifetime of professional and medical care, that Spencer became interested in elder law and estate planning. Spencer has helped many clients in crafting wills, trusts, advanced health care directives, powers of attorney, special needs trusts, Medicare set-asides and guardianships. With his litigation experience, Spencer has also assisted clients with trust, estate, probate, and conservatorship litigation. Spencer is a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys.
Spencer was a Williams H. Leary Scholar at the University of Utah College of Law and completed his undergraduate work at Brigham Young University. Spencer came to Utah from Miami, Florida after being raised in Chicago, Illinois.
